Mel and his wife where shot while out boating.  They were shot by an armed drone.  The investigators found the drone … the smoking gun.  It was clean … no leads.  Mel was not a nice guy … lots of lawsuits … lots of enemies.  Life insurance policies on his commercial real estate loans.  With the sudden rise in interest rates, Mel was in financial trouble.  So, who did him in … the guys on the other side of his lawsuits … lenders worried about being stiffed as Mel’s commercial real estate empire was collapsing?  The search for someone with the motive was frustrating.
